The External Logistics Officer is responsible for the effective coordination, control, and performance management of all externally managed transport operations using third‑party logistics providers (3PLs). The role ensures that inbound and outbound movements support production, warehouse operations, and customer service requirements while maintaining safety, legal compliance, and cost efficiency.
The post holder acts as the key operational link between external haulage partners and internal site teams, ensuring transport availability, visibility, and service reliability.
