Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
As the successful candidate, you will have the opportunity to work on the Wing of Tomorrow Full Scale Static Test, including:
Correlating test results with predictions and drawing conclusions for the next phase of testing, and beyond;
Working with the results of novel instrumentation techniques to gain understanding of the behavior of the wing and feeding that learning into future projects.
In addition to that, you will also support the development of novel composite wing box designs, working closely with other engineering functions and manufacturing colleagues.
Through these activities you will develop a good understanding of how we design, analyze and test Airbus wings. You will use cutting edge simulation tools and play a role in disseminating the learning to future R&T activities and projects.
