Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

As HR Officer I play a crucial role in ensuring the effective management and development of the human resources throughout the Group. This position involves a variety of tasks day to day, that support the organisation’s HR operations, including recruitment, absence, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and HR policy implementation.
As HR Officer I also, work closely with both employees and management to create a productive and positive work environment.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I am currently working towards my Level 7 CIPD HR Qualification, which is absolutely a challenge, but is increasing my knowledge, behaviours and skills all within my usual day to day working as well as learning new skills and knowledge.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Absolutely. My within my apprenticeship, I have to start thinking and working 'Strategically' to ultimately, improve processes and policies across Doocey Group.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Absolutely, my programme is organised and structured, however i am also able to make the structure of the programme work for me and my workload both apprenticeship wise and work wise.

Just having the exposure and experience to various different opportunities, through my daily work entwined within my qualification and learning gives me the support I need.
