Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

5/5
Managing the format of the intake process for ideas and suggestions across our Commercial and Supply Portfolios - ensuring an equitable prioritisation process is used in all portfolios and that all activity includes (where applicable) associated cost and benefit.
My role all includes the line management of all Commercial and Supply business analysts, and leading the Way of working, tools, techniques and structure for the Business Analysis function in Asda.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

5/5
I've found a topic that I'm really passionate. Coaching is something I've played at but never had formal training in theory and practice. There is no Coaching function established in Asda at present - and I see this is a golden opportunity as an output of this course.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

5/5
Models and theory associated with Coaching and the application of these during Coaching sessions held, applying learning as part of this course.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

5/5
Good structure, adequate time between live sessions - and trust to continue at your own pace. The inclusion of mentor check-ins is invaluable and the creation of a portfolio (including submission and feedback) iteratively - makes this feel mangeable.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

5/5
All necessary support provided, be it time booked in advance for live sessions, acknowledging time required each week for session prep, execution and reflection.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

5/5
Coach mentor is a real asset - on hand for specific questions, providing portfolio critique and also to throw questions at in regular catch ups in a quiet safe space.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

5/5
I will be a better Senior Manager as a result of this course - I will look to apply and spread the word of a Coaching function. Day to day I am also able to provide support and guidance to my peers on topics where coaching theory can be applied.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

5/5
Yes
