Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I enjoy learning about aircraft and the systems involved.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
I think it is hard to rate this as parts of the apprenticeship are great and others less so. It is managed well and I enjoy working with the people who I work with. But, on the university side it is much more frustrating.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have leant a lot of new skills and I am continuing to learn.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
The course is structured well with good time in the business areas. However, it could be more organised when it comes to deciding who gets which placement.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
The company are really supportive and help me develop both in university and at work professionally.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
The university support me to an extent. It takes a lot of pushing to actually get help and it is very dependant on who you ask.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
I think I learn a lot more on the job about my work than I do at university. But this may changed dependant on the modules currently being studied.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
There are lots of organised events both professionally and personally. It is encouraged to do social activities together and this is a highlight of the apprenticeship.
