Each day I follow the schedule of meals, nappies, sleeps and bottles while taking care of the children and making sure they have an activity to learn from daily.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I’ve gained confidence from working with the parents and have now learnt different ways to take care of and educate children. I have learnt first aid and many different safeguarding approaches.

I am given a balanced amount of time between practical work and my coursework. However visits from the tutor can sometimes be missed.

Why?
It’s a great place to learn with lovely management and a safe environment. All the children are especially taken care of and even staff safety and wellbeing is a main priority.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Kids Planet Day Nurseries?
Ask for help when needed and never go without an answer as it is important to learn everything you can.
