I am responsible for caring for, looking after, safeguarding and providing learning and developmental activities for the children in my care
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy it, just wish I had more time to focus on the theoretical parts of the apprenticeship and working more with my mentor to gain more knowledge and skills

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Need more support from a mentorship side, often the expectations are in place, however how to realistically achieve them within the time provided and within the setting is unattainable
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive good support and my employer is very supportive and understanding of my specific needs, however I would benefit from more time and support towards the apprenticeship and the skills, knowledge and behaviours I need to grasp during my apprenticeship
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I am often doing work in my own personal time at home and don’t always get time off during work hours for off the job training and meeting with a mentor to work through the necessary learning that I need to achieve
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I am a teacher with a bachelor of education degree and 15 Years teaching experience so I have a wealth of knowledge and experience but my course definitely helps channel this towards a EYFS learning environment

Yes
Why?
It is a lovely place to work and we have wonderful families and children that we get to work with. There is a lot of opportunity for growth and development in both a personal and professional capacity
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Kids Planet Day Nurseries?
Find your inner child and make sure that you let your true self be shown as everyone has something special and valuable to add to the company and the more vibrant, fun and engaging you are, the more you get from the job
