Depends on the day, half of the days it's individual work on our group projects and proactive networking; half of the days it's structured training and cold calling clients to sell them the products

We were given freedom to manage our projects and were given responsibility to cold call clients, but nothing too serious like a full-time employee would have

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Amazing culture, I have never seen anything like it. Incredibly open, comforting, collaborative... Everyone's willing to go above and beyond to help you even if you just want to know something out of curiosity; everyone is friendly and warm

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I loved it. If you like finance, you are at the center of it but, regardless of your career interests, the culture and the experience are amazing, I would 100% recommend this internship to anyone who asked.

What advice would you give to others applying to Bloomberg
Show interest, they want to see that you want to be a part of the company, as long as you are motivated and enthusiastic you will be okay, do not worry too much about not having the financial knowledge, they train you from the ground up
