My role involves the handling of cases, client communication, drafting documents, communication with third parties and progressing claims.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I find the programme very enjoyable. The study programme suits nicely with the work.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed a varied skillset, including communication, legal research, case management, problem solving and drafting. Being able to handle cases and deal with clients on a daily basis has really helped with confidence as well.

The programme is well structured, with good communication between the university and my firm.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer is extremely supportive. They are understanding of work/life balance and studying alongside work. There are training opportunities provided and monthly supervision in place.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The training provider provides good support with the study aspect. The structure of the course is helpful with the prepare, engage and consolidation tasks. Lecturers are available and happy to help with any questions.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I think the study aspect of the apprenticeship compliments my role nicely. It assists in improving core skills such as drafting and problem solving.
