Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Varied tasks mostly out in the field, maintaining and building infrastructure regarding 11 KV and LV wooden poles. I assist my colleagues and regularly work at height.

This is a new area to me straight from school and the training at National Grid has been exceptional

I get plenty of notice of when my training courses are and time in between courses to implement the knowledge I learn

I have my assessor, but I also have a local mentor who can help me any time along with my higher grade colleagues and managers
