Overview of Experience

Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

Day-to-day you would have a mix of formal and informal networking sessions, coffee chats and socials, training sessions, client tasks, observing client calls, catch ups and check ins. You will also have some larger tasks to complete, such as research.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?

The vacation scheme gave me an insight into how the business operates and the roles available within that structure, through networking, and task distribution.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt new drafting skills during the scheme, and refined and developed my research skills so that it is more appropriate for business use rather than academic use. I have also developed my communication skills, both written and verbal, as there was plenty of opportunity to practice!

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The company culture is fantastic. Everyone seems positive, relaxed and friendly and genuinely willing to help. You can definitely feel the 'always human' culture and it has been a welcoming environment for two weeks.
