I'm an apprentice surveyor within the London Development Land team. I advise on the disposal and acquisition of potential development sites within the M25 as well as providing consultancy, appraisal and high level planning advise.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

The skills i have learned in this role were all completely new to me. I have learned how to undertake development/ residual appraisals for sites within the M25.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

I was given one day a week to complete my uni workand given enough support throughout the process.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My Line manager has been very helpful throughout the process helping review assignment briefs if needed and providing comments on how i could think about things in a different way.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

UBE provided me with multiple webinars i could attend leading up to the assigment that i found very helpful.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It's difficult to find correlation in most of the uni modules that i did due to how specific my role is. A lot of the legal and tax modules didn't really relate to my day-to-day job.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

I have played for Savills football team from the moment I joined and attend multiple team/ divisional events.

Why?
They have provided me with an opportunity to succeed with the support that from what i have heard not all companies provide. They have constant check ups to see if they can help in anyway and have always followed through with any support they have provided.
