Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The vacation scheme involved a varied and mix of activities, including social events, volunteering opportunities, talks from different teams and informal coffee chats with colleagues. I completed research and other practical tasks, which gave me a good insight into the firm’s work and culture while also allowing me to develop key skills.

Through talks, networking opportunities and hands-on tasks, I gained a clearer picture of how different teams operate and contribute to the firm as a whole.

I strengthened my research and analytical abilities through completing assigned tasks and improved my communication skills by engaging in coffee chats, group discussions and networking events. I also built greater confidence in professional settings.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The company culture was incredibly positive it was very supportive, friendly and welcoming. Everyone was approachable and genuinely willing to help, which made it easy to settle in and feel comfortable.

Show genuine interest and enthusiasm throughout the process be engaged and proactive. Don’t be afraid to ask questions and get involved as everyone is very approachable and supportive.
