I work as a Microbiologist within Research & Development, where my role focuses on supporting and delivering science‑led projects that underpin product innovation. On a day‑to‑day basis, I contribute to the design, planning and interpretation of experimental work, particularly in microbiology and bio‑measurement, working closely with internal R&D teams and external partners.

Yes, I have developed both technical and transferable skills. I have strengthened my ability to design and review scientific work, interpret data and communicate insights clearly to different audiences. I have also improved my project management, organisation and stakeholder communication skills through coordinating work across teams and external partners. Overall, I have grown in confidence, adaptability and ownership in supporting complex R&D projects.
