Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role as a sales degree apprentice involves supporting SAP sales account executives and sales teams deliver results and drive deals. My day to day is comprised of customer engagement, workshops, sales planning and heavy involvement in the sales cycle.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I thoroughly enjoy the B2B sales degree apprenticeship at SAP. It has been a gateway for me not just to understand sales but also corporate culture. It has allowed me to consider a career path whilst working.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt and developed many skills including sales skills, people skills and interpersonal skills.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme is well structured with the apprentices being treated like any other sales person with quarterly and annual reviews. I have also experienced support from my manager with weekly 1:1s where I discuss my progress in the programme. The degree is also well structured as workshop dates are scheduled on the calendar months prior.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

I have received lots of support from my employer through 1:1s and support through the employees support system.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
