Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I have enjoyed my days in the business but am fully college based at the moment so can’t fully know yet.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I don’t mind it and do learn necessary skills for my role. I do sometimes find it difficult that it is fully classroom based and that we aren’t currently doing practical.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes I have developed my maths as I hadn’t done it for a few years and have also learn new things in mechanical and electrical principles.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

At first it was very unorganised but that has mostly been sorted and we do have tutors for every lesson pretty much every week now.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

After having meetings where they realised I needed more support in place they have checked up on me more and are putting things in place for when I transition to the business.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

4/5

Most tutors are good at providing help if I ask so I can complete my assignments to the best of my ability.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

As I am not on site yet I’m not sure how much of it will be used or helpful however I have learn engineering information that I did not previously know.
