Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
2/5
4 days a week I carry out apprentice tasks within my placement and one day a week I attend university to obtain my degree.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
I think the programme is average compared to other schemes. It is a good opportunity to learn on the job and gain experience while obtaining a degree. At times I think there is wasted time such as at the beginning of the course there was a lot of time lost doing training exercises that had little to no benefit.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have developed my digital skills since joining the programme. Using excel, using monitors, software such as Jira and confluence, teams. I have also developed my communication skills by speaking to colleagues and my time keeping skills have increased for meeting deadlines for tasks.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
2/5
At the beginning the shceme felt unorganised with not a lot of knowledge known about what would be happening each day. This has settled down since starting placements however there were also delays to some people being given placements on tme.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
3/5
Standard level of support expected
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
The training provider is the business that helps by providing skills coaches and regular 3 month lpr sessions to make sure apprentices are still making the right progress.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
The university training as not helped me in my role. The rest of the training has been somewhat useful
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
