Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I am partnered with an experienced member of the maintenance department, and accompany them on jobs they are assigned throughout the day. Whilst this can be very good learning I sometimes feel that I am passed around from person to person and do not have consistent work. At times I feel that I have to seek work that I have to ask to accompany someone with
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the experience that my position allows me to gain, and there are lots of knowledgeable people that I can learn from, however I feel that at times my schedule can be poorly planned.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed hands on skills with tools & lab equipment, whilst also gaining knowledge into health and safety. I have learnt how to efficiently test for dead, as well as broader skills like operating a mewp.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme on average is structured, however I found that the initial joining period left me to my own devices quite a lot. I still find myself seeking people to shadow when I haven't been planned in to anything, however this is not a constant issue.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employers offer sufficient support, sitting down scheduling meetings with me routinely to check that I am getting on at university and within my position well.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider provides sufficient support for me to work towards my qualifications for the most part. I often have enough time to complete work, attend university, and revise.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My qualification in perfectly suited to my working position, and I feel that both complement eachother.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are sports activities set up by colleagues, and there are functions held e.g. leaving do's & Xmas parties.

Why?
I feel that on a whole, they offer a supportive environment that I may develop within. I am hopeful that I may fully integrate into the workplace and be able to work independently following my apprenticeship
