Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

As we are in the first year of the apprenticeship, our week involves attending college for five days a week at the ICAT center next to Cardiff Airport. Day to day we learn the basics of how aircraft work and are maintained.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

So far it has been very interesting, and when we move to the later stages, it seems like it will be a very enjoyable experience.

Learnt the basics of fabrication hand skills, how a workshop functions safely, and how to use tools safely and efficiently.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The course is well structured in the first year, as we go through the modules one by one, and in our other two years we are stationary on one base, which makes the process more simple.
