Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

As a summer analyst, my day to day task involved helping analysts and associates on pitch presentations/marketing materials for clients. A majority of my work was in PowerPoint and excel. For my second rotation, I would assist with preparing a report called a debt market overview which was sent to the whole firm.

Yes I think I was given some responsiblity during my internship and I was often encouraged to take ownership of my work

I think I have definitely developed my interpersonal skills and ability to connect and communicate with other people. I've also massively improved my attention to detail. I also multitask a little bit better.

I recieved an immense amount of support from day 1. Everyone was truly committed to helping me out and ensuring that I learnt as much as possible and fully enjoyed my experience. The support and guidance I recieved completed exceeded my expectations

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Company culture was absolutely fantastic. Daily tasks were meaningful and were included in final materials presented to clients. Every single person in this organization was kind, respectful, and willing to help. They also encouraged me to ask as many questions as I possibly could. I really loved the flat structure at the firm and I looked forward to coming into the office every single day. People are easily approachable.
