Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

During our first year we were in Cardiff sitting CAA AML Exams which also contribute towards a C&G qualification. Now during our second year we are based at our allocated bases and conduct day-to-day maintenance on Apaches. (Aircraft depends on location)
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the program and how much you can learn during the timeframe, and the career progression that is possible within the company.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt a range of new hand skills and grown confidence in the workplace allowing me to further develop my skillset and knowledge.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Organised during the first year, but on the second year can seem like you are thrown in the deep end but supervisors are very helpful and accommodating.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Any concerns are addressed appropriately and suitably handled.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

We have a dedicated assessor who can answer concerns and give advice on completing work and logbooks.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
