I am learning how to take apart aircraft and put it back together again as well as fixing any faults that I find. I follow the guidance of experienced technicians and learn from them as we work through new tasks each day.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy working with aircraft and get on well with the technicians that train me as an apprentice.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I've improved my hand skills significantly and am now able to use most tools in the toolbox. I had never used these tools before this job. I have also learned how to lockwire and split pin.
