Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

4/5
My role involves designing microsites, hype videos, and digital assets that support the business’s customer success efforts. On a day-to-day basis, I create engaging digital experiences and visual content that help customers better understand, adopt, and connect with the company’s solutions. This includes developing branded microsites for customer initiatives, producing hype videos to drive excitement and engagement, and creating a range of digital assets tailored to customer needs. My work combines creativity, design, and strategic communication to enhance the customer journey and contribute to overall business success.

I particularly like being able to work on projects such as microsite design, hype videos, and digital assets that directly support customer success. It’s rewarding to see how my work can engage customers and contribute to the business, while also allowing me to develop both my technical and creative skills. Overall, I enjoy the variety of the programme and the chance to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

4/5
Yes, I have learnt a range of new skills and also developed the ones I already had. Through my programme, I’ve strengthened my creative and technical abilities in designing microsites, producing hype videos, and creating digital assets for customers. I’ve improved my skills in areas such as digital design, video editing, branding, and using design tools more efficiently. I’ve also developed my communication and problem-solving skills by working on projects that need to meet customer needs and support the wider team.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

4/5
The programme is well organised and structured, with a good balance between learning and practical experience in the workplace. It provides clear guidance on what I need to achieve while also giving me opportunities to apply my skills in real projects and producing digital assets for customers.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

4/5
I receive a good level of support from my employer throughout my programme. They provide guidance and feedback on my work, while also giving me the trust to take ownership of projects. I feel supported in both my day-to-day responsibilities and my development, as there are always people I can go to for advice when needed.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

5/5
I receive a good level of support from my training provider while working towards my qualifications. They provide clear guidance on the course requirements, regular check-ins, and helpful feedback to make sure I stay on track. If I ever need clarification or extra help, they are approachable and responsive, and offer 1:1s which makes it easier to manage both my learning. Overall, their support has been valuable in helping me progress confidently through the programme and work towards completing my qualification successfully.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

5/5
I feel that my qualification has helped me perform much better in my role, as I have learnt so much through my training provider. It has given me a stronger understanding of the skills and knowledge needed in my day to day work, while also helping me improve existing abilities and build new ones. I’ve been able to apply what I’ve learnt directly to projects. Overall, the qualification has made me more confident, capable, and effective in my role.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

4/5
Yes, there are extra-curricular activities to get involved in at work, including social and networking opportunities. I also take part in activities like padel from time to time, which is a great way to stay active, connect with colleagues, and build relationships outside of work. It’s nice to have those opportunities as they help create a positive balance between work and social interaction.
