Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
I was given the opportunity to work between multiple different departments and offices over my time.
Each departments jobs differed but I did a whole range of things including
- wayleave surveying including site visits, writing up meetings, identifying land owners, contacting land owners
- planning including high level planning appraisals, updating planning lists
- GIS mapping.
No day was the same. I got to sit in on a wide range of different meetings and did tasks to do with those.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
I found it very useful to experience a number of different departments and offices to give my a great view of the business.
Talking to current grads was so valuable in terms of understanding graduate oppertunities

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The atmosphere is great. Everyone is very welcoming and even people who aren't involved in the placement have been happy to talk with me, share their expertise and give me insight.
The office is a great atmosphere, very young vibe which is great for grads
