As a mental health nurse in the community it is about learning how to check mental states, risk assessments and how to support the patient in a safe and effective way, calling on support when needed and understanding the processes for this.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The course was very informative and helped me enhance the skills I gained from the job. This has helped me progress within my roles.

The support at university was good with good colleagues who were helpful

Support from work was provided on tr partly check ins however there wasnt much help needed either

Provided with good support however was told im an adult learner and basically to work it out myself. This also included being told conflicting information regarding work to be marked
