Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

4/5
Admin. Attend/Support/Lead Customer/partner meetings. Commercial support. Customer document preparation. Working across the salesforce (CSM and marketing). DG and Research.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

4/5
It has been a mostly excellent on the job learning experience. Have been given lots of support from managers and colleagues.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

5/5
Both. I have been able to develop some existing skills as well as learnt new skills I never thought I would be able to purely just from going to university.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

4/5
Mostly well structured. As the first cohort of degree apprentices there has been some readjustments and a bit of 'guinea pigging' but that's to be expected. Still very professional programme and certain to be successful for years to come.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

5/5

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

4/5

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend SAP to a friend?

Yes

Why?

If you are interested in starting a professional career with lots of opportunities and job roles then SAP is a fantastic place to start a career. Apart from this, I have found that the standards set as an employer and as a place to work is now super high and feel that I am well aware of what a great place to work looks like - which I will continue to look for in the future amongst other employers.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to SAP?

Networking, showing curiosity is key and having ambition is super important - even if its not for the role you originally signed up for in the first place. Demonstrating that you're willing to work hard to achieve your goals is the main thing employers are looking for. Don't be afraid to speak up either. If you feel that something isn't working for you, all my managers have been super proactive in making sure the apprenticeship has worked both in SAP's and my favour.
