Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
Working alongside cable jointers installing and maintaining HV and LV cable networks.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I enjoyed the role as it was a progression of the work I had already been doing.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I was taught at our training school in Taunton which was really informative and was delivered very professionally. The mentoring and guidance I received back in the depot was equally as good and I felt I could always find the help I needed.

5/5
The structure was good and the help and guidance from our assessors was superb.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
The support was good as I could always speak to my mentor, colleagues or assessor in person or via email.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
We were booked onto our City and Guilds and my training courses were all fitted in the best as possible as I was a designate learner and could try to fit onto courses as and when they came up.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
It’s allowed me to understand the role and obtain the right skill set.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
We meet up socially with our colleagues and class many of them as friends.
