Although the work is interesting and good, I am not being given a full time job on completion of my apprenticeship, which is a disappointment. After putting in a lot of effort for the site and company I am now having to search for a job elsewhere.

My Mechanical skills have developed exponentially.

The learning from college and SVQ Level 3 helps a lot for my day-to-day tasks.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
2/5
There are together days which are charity days to help the community.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend GSK to a friend?
Yes
Why?
It is a good place to work, with relatively good pay and various pieces of equipment to learn from. The strong safety mindset sets you up well for future careers. Although the fact that apprentices are not being kept on is very disappointing.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to GSK?
Research the company and site and have a good attitude to work and safety.
