Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Currently a Logistics Planner, I kit parts in, order material, check stock levels, attend daily sum up meetings (DSUMS) and Sit in Ops meetings.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

It's a well set out programme, all the early careers teams are so helpful if we have any queries or need any extra guidance regarding what we have covered within delivery sessions.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

We are able to receive all material that is going to be covered within the sessions prior to the delivery, this allows us to read over and have some understanding before the session.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My placement leads have a great understanding of what is to be expected of me in connection the the apprenticeship standard. I have a designated college day within the week where I am free to complete all off the job and assignment work necessary.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Monthly training sessions, covering specific topics within the standard, we are able to contact them at any point and access support should we need it.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Allows for the scheme to link into my day to day job, this allows for real life examples to be shown to me and how it works along side the theory process for the scheme.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Be yourself! The business are hiring you for you and your skills. Be honest and open in your capabilities of what you can and can't do. Research the business and have a good understanding of what we do.
