Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Mace Consult to a friend?
No
Why?
The RICS accreditation being tied to the apprenticeship is unrealistic and puts unnecessary pressure and stress to those who are already working full time on a project and completing their degree as apprentices struggle to get level 3 exposure to all competencies within the apprenticeship and need more industry experience. Throughout my apprenticeship there has been inconsistencies between employee pay and promotions, with the career progression promised during interview not followed , compensation not being based on performance but dependent on what sector or management support you have.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Mace Consult?
Apprentices need a rotation of projects every 6-12 months to gain competency exposure and have a consistent approach across all apprentices with regards to compensation whether this be performance based or a fixed increase and promotion criteria more consistent
