Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

During my apprenticeship I have worked in all of the Savills central finance teams and assisted them with their daily tasks. The teams include: banking, credit control, billings, invoice processing, payments, reconciliations & control.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The programme has been a great experience to pick up and learn key transferable skills to help develop my career, for example, teamwork and collaboration, IT skills and organisational skills as well as growing my knowledge in finance as a whole.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have strongly improved my skills during my time at Savills, this includes my confidence in communication, organisational skills and my IT proficiency.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme is very well structured with 4 days working and 1 for studying every week.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Savills provide great support to help throughout the apprenticeship programme.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I have received a lot of support from my training provider, from weekly workshop calls to individual calls to focus on topics I have struggled with.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The qualification has helped to deepen my knowledge and understanding of finance which has helped me to better understand my role and the work I do on a day to day basis.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
