Overall, how would you describe your experience at Savills?
My experience at Savills has been invaluable to my career in terms of experience in different teams as well as support with my part time Masters degree and APC training
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
I have undertaken several rotations:
Valuation - inspecting properties, calling agents, writing reports
Property Management - inspecting properties, liaising with tenants, setting service charge budgets, client meetings
Development Consultancy - market reports, options reports, development appraisals, client meetings
Investment - inspecting properties, calling agents, marketing process
Lease Consultancy - inspecting properties, calling agents, negotiating with other parties for rent reviews and lease renewals
Valuation - inspecting properties, calling agents, writing reports

Why?
It is a really good place to begin your career as it provides exposure to a range of property services at many different levels. It provides extensive training in relation to the APC and is a really supportive environment which encourages employees to progress.

You aren't expected to know everything about property, they're more interested in what you're like as a person and what you can bring to the team, the knowledge will fall into place from day-to-day experiences.
