Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role as a tax assistant consists of the support in preparation and submission for tax compliance work of individuals and companies. The role involves analysing financial information, preparing tax computations and assisting with advisory work, whilst maintaining contact with clients and HMRC under supervision of more senior staff.

4/5
The training provides a range of subjects all linked to my role and the wider accountancy world, it provides a strong breadth of knowledge and base understanding of different areas of accountancy.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
