Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
A key part of my role involves assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts, where I help reconcile budgets, review expenditure, and ensure all documentation is complete and compliant. I am also involved in handling the sale of property accounts, ensuring a smooth transfer of financial information between parties.
Through this work, I contribute to the efficient running of the business, as the service charge accounts function is essential to maintaining transparency and trust with clients and stakeholders.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
I particularly enjoy the variety of tasks in my role and the opportunity to work with different people, including surveyors and client accountants across the country. This has helped build my confidence, communication skills, and attention to detail.
Overall, I find the programme both engaging and rewarding, as it is helping me build the knowledge and skills I need for my future career.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
I have also developed my presentation and communication skills, allowing me to present information more clearly and professionally when working with surveyors and client accountants. I have also improved my reliability and ability to manage my workload effectively, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
The programme has also helped me learn how to carry myself in a professional workplace, building confidence in how I communicate and interact with colleagues. Alongside this, I have developed better time management skills, allowing me to balance my workload with my personal life more effectively.
