Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The two-day programme involved workshops and talks on a range of practice areas in A&O, a career in law as well as a social event with mini golf on the first night! We gained insight into becoming a lawyer, as well as various practice areas in the firm such as banking and litigation. We were also assigned a trainee buddy to help us with understanding commercial law and the legal career.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was very engaging, the workshops were interactive and made sure to engage all participants. There was also a great social element to the programme which encouraged peer-to-peer learning

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
It seemed very friendly and open. I particularly enjoyed learning about the DEI work and meeting with the various diversity groups to learn about how employees are supported and encouraged in the firm
