I am an apprentice cable jointer where I learn the process of jointing low voltage and high voltage cable on the countries electrical infrastructure
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Love my job role. Different every day. Out and about seeing new places and dealing with a wide variety of people and customers. Physical outdoor job.

Hand skills with tools. Mapping ability. Communicating with customers and people in a professional manner

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Clear structure for the apprenticeship with outline dates for completion. Courses throughout the apprenticeship are booked for you in advance alongside accommodation and communication around all of this is clear and accessible.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I have a mentor, team leader, manager, and various people in the company I can go to easily if I felt I needed support.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Very clear in offering support for those that need it

I play with my department in a football league and various social activities are organised for the team as a whole.
