Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Assist the digital intelligence business unit with ongoing projects with the aspiration to move in to placements ranging from 6 months to a year dependant on availability. This would include data analysis through a range of software tools at varying levels.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
Very much so, still early days. There's lots to learn and get involved in.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have learnt lots from data analysis and visualisation tools like Altyrex and Tableau.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
We could get our placements quicker, but everyone is very helpful in ensuring we're still learning as we go.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
Full backing.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
University has been excellent so far. Some lecturers better than others.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
At the moment, it's hard to say. We do an introductory year at university whereby we're learning small segments of all of the specialisms before we move in to our own. Personally for me, with lots of professional experience, I probably could have done without this year.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
Socials and networking events have been good. Social activities and sports teams appear to be distinctly lacking, or at least knowing where to find them.
