Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

As a first year apprentice, I mainly have the role of learning on the job and challenging myself with jobs given to me by my selected groups. Ensuring tasks are completed to my fullest capability and promptly, then reflecting with senior member on how I could improve. At this stage in my career, it is not about being perfect it is to become a valuable and trusted member of the team.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt how to expose myself and take on new challenges applying theory to real life. Implementing myself within teams and understanding where I stand coming in and how building trust also allows others to pass on their knowledge. In addition to extending knowledge I had acquired from my previous education.
