Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
The role required strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills, as I was responsible for guiding teams, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring that all operational requirements were consistently met. Being given such a broad scope of responsibility allowed me to develop my ability to manage complex situations, prioritize tasks, and operate independently while still contributing to wider organisational goals.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
I have also gained a deeper understanding of how legislation underpins every aspect of business operations. This includes how laws and regulations are reflected in company policies and procedures, and how they guide the way a business is managed on a day-to-day basis. This knowledge has enabled me to ensure compliance while maintaining high operational standards.
In terms of my existing skills, I have built on my confidence significantly. I am now more assured in my decision-making, communication, and leadership approach. I feel more capable of taking initiative, managing responsibilities independently, and supporting both my team and clients effectively.
