Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
My apprentice role includes being in a manufacturing environment creating pharmaceutical products while also attending college one day a week. There are 2 parts to the college course a manufacturing-based side and a science based side, which covers biology and chemistry.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I highly enjoy the apprentice program I learn something new everyday whether in college or on site, it does get tough at times when multiple deadlines appear at once but I am able to complete this within my working day making it easier.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I had never seen or done anything like what I do in my apprenticeship and have learnt loads of new skills while also expanding on other skills which I had prior to my apprenticeship.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
My program is well structured with a part time course on a Monday followed by Tuesday through Friday on site.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
My employer has put in support meetings to ensure that I am not struggling with college work or work on site, and also provides sources and information which i may need within my apprenticeship.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
My training provider is excellent at giving as much feedback as possible, allowing me to complete tasks on time and in full.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
The qualification which i am working to allows me to see the behind the scenes on what i do on plant and allows me to gain a further understanding of what I am actually doing within my role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Apprentice meets including all sites from UK take place once every year, this allows for networking to take place and deeper understanding of what the company is doing within different sites.
