Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My team have been very eager to help me grow and to help push myself. In my day to day role I help to train the marketing team, we see gaps in the knowledge base and create programmes or resources to train them to achieve our marketing objectives. We also are the whole of comms for the marketing team.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

My programme was excellent it gave me the opportunity to learn in a manor that works for me. As someone who learns by doing this has been the best opportunity for growth and allowed me to gain a qualification alongside experience.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, this apprenticeship has given me the opportunity to not only develop my soft skills and practical skills but also allowed me to grow personally in areas like confidence.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

My provider was Multiverse and they were exceptional at the teaching side while Unilever provided a lot of support for their apprentices throughout.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

I received a lot of support from my team and we had lots of events for apprentices. However, it would be difficult to find support if something was going wrong with the learning side of things from the HR team.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider were Multiverse and I cannot fault them, they were incredibly helpful and so approachable if you needed any support.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The excel skills have helped me to analyse data much quicker, however, the rest of the course is no longer that relevant to my day to day role.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are lots of extra-curricular activities to get involved in here, we always have community and wellbeing events for the apprentices. However, even if you aren't apprentices there are always events on that are incredibly fun, educational and good for networking.

It is a global company that genuinely seem to care about their employee's, my team have been incredible at including me and ensuring I get to have my thoughts and opinions inputted.
