Overall, how would you describe your experience at Costa Coffee?
Overall, my experience at Costa Coffee has been very positive. As a finance professional, I’ve appreciated the opportunity to develop my skills in a practical, fast-paced environment while gaining valuable insight into how the business operates. The team has been supportive, and there are good opportunities to learn and grow professionally. It’s been a great place to build confidence and apply my academic knowledge in a real-world setting.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
In my role, my main responsibilities involve supporting financial analysis, assisting with reporting, and contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes. I also help review performance data and provide insights that support decision-making across the business. This includes working with different teams to ensure financial information is accurate and aligned with wider business goals.
What I enjoy most about the role is the sense of real impact. It’s rewarding to see how the work I contribute feeds into decisions that affect day-to-day operations and longer-term strategy. I also value the opportunity to work collaboratively with different parts of the business, as it gives me a broader understanding of how everything connects.
