To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The course really allowed me to expand my skill set which immediately was showcased in the reports that were being outputted.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have increased my ability to know why I should be using specific visuals and better methods on how to tell the story of the data in my reports. I also developed my ability to write reports using Power BI which I was not previously confident in.

Very well structured and easy to meet deadlines and to know what to do for each module.

I was given my allotted time, which was very protected from others in the business interrupting.

I had to take a break in learning, which was handled with care and attention and only required to return when the correct time came.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The skills and knowledge that was gained from the course has enabled me to write reports to a higher standard. I also have a greater bank of knowledge behind the 'Why', this means that the reports that are generated have a greater value to them and provide the correct information for the right audiences.

The company is very supportive of both professional and personal accounts. I joined the business and then was put on an apprenticeship, this shows that the company is keen on enhancing and developing their employees.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Selco Builders Warehouse?
Get involved, don't be scared to have conversations with other departments and teams. These relations that you build allow you to know who to turn to when you might not be the right individual for the job or the support that is required from another department becomes easier to ask for and attain.
