What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
As part of the FMC Commercial Revenue team, my role centres around developing strategies to improve market penetration and drive commercial success, involving a mix of data analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders. To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?
5/5
I've been given a real sense of ownership from early on, having had the opportunity to lead projects independently and present findings and recommendations directly to senior stakeholders. This has made me feel genuinely valued as a contributor rather than just a graduate, which has been one of the most rewarding aspects of the programme so far.

Yes
Why?
I'd recommend VMO2 to a friend because it offers the rare combination of working on genuinely impactful, large-scale commercial challenges whilst being surrounded by great people in an environment that actively invests in your development. If you're ambitious, curious and want to hit the ground running in a business where your contributions are noticed and valued, it's a brilliant place to start your career.

4/5
It exceeded expectations
When considering the recruitment & onboarding process, have you any specific tips or advice you would give to others applying to Virgin Media O2?
My biggest piece of advice would be to let your personality come through — recruiters are looking for people they can imagine working with every day, so being genuine and personable will take you much further than rehearsed, textbook answers. Equally, make sure you've done your homework on VMO2 and the broader telecoms market, as showing that you understand the commercial landscape and can speak confidently about the industry demonstrates exactly the kind of curiosity and drive this programme is looking for.
