Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
I perform software engineering related activities (designing, developing, testing, reviewing, deploying). I work on individual and group projects within my team and work in an agile manner.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I absolutely love my programme. I really feel valued and the placements I've had have been great.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I've developed my programming skills which I already had from GCSE/A-Level. My design and testing skills have drastically improved. My communication skills have increased along with my confidence.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
It's hard to quantify how much support has been received, but when I've needed it, it's been there.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
The support is based on individual lecturers at the university. However when I've reached out I have received support. The quality is sometimes lacking from certain lecturers but then I've had some brilliant lecturers as well.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
The qualification and job are very similar and benefit each other. However it mainly feels like I learn things at work and then learn them at university.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
It depends on your placement. University societies are available.
