Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I shadow people in the team and attend meetings, better my learning of the business, and I am assigned relevant work with the support of my team.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have been able to develop my soft skills and also for specific skills in different placements that will help me in other aspects of the business.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
I attend regular reviews with skills coaches for my performance and wellbeing as well as reviews assessing the specific work that I have done in placements, helping me gain evidence for my end point assessment.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
Support systems and schemes are highlighted for me to use, and I am able to reach out to my coaches if needed.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
This is discussed in 12 weekly reviews. However, as we only attend college once a week, it can take issues longer to be resolved.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
Not all work covered at college has been shown to be relevant to my placements yet, but it forms a good base layer of knowledge.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Social events are organised which I attend, as well as networking events and volunteering outreach events in local schools.
