I think it's a 4 not a 5 because in my experience I haven't been able to do quite as much panel work as I want however that being said I do stay busy most days.

I do enjoy it a lot when I'm doing the right work.

I came into this job having never touched a car or any tools before and so I feel I've definitely learnt a lot.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

It definitely could be improved, the communication between managers and the college isn't up to par and neither is the communication simply just in the college. It does end up holding me back sometimes.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I do receive support but as previously mentioned the communication could be improved.

I think because of the college trips and the structure to those trips it helps me gradually gain knowledge and skills.

Because it's a growing company and that means more opportunities.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Steer Automotive?
I would say that even though it's a growing company it's still just a body shop. It's nothing out of the ordinary so keep expectations realistic.
