Learning how to Strip and fit new or danaged parts, repair complex and simple panel damages, and how to paint clear over base and direct gloss paint.

I started the apprenticeship with no knowledge about repairing accidents on vehicles, now i am able to see through a repair from start to finish.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

There were various issues with the structure of the apprenticeship. What was supposed to be 2 years lasted for 3 due to lack of clarity on the test dates and criteria for the assessments itself. However despite this, the assessors, mentors, and teachers were able to accommodate the students to the best of their ability.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Great support, thought at times there are times when the apprentices are made to work at the pace of qualified workers. However, opportunities are often offered for further experiences for different skills.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Although the structure and management was somewhat disorganised, plenty off support was offered with additional blocks offered for further practice and training if needed.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Helps very much, the qualification had allowed me to see the different sides within vehicle repair. It has provided me with important insight to different procedures as opposed to just one discipline.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Not much is provided for socialising events, though there are times where Christmas parties and occasional celebration events are had
