Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

we only do test and inspection here. this is good but we don't do any form of install however sometimes replaces things such as lamps and switches.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

the people are all nice here however can be a lack of work which gets boring

i learnt loads of new skills such as electrical testing and installation from the learning phase

How well organised/structured is your programme?

organisation is abit poor due to lack of communication between managers. the structure is also abit confusing as its been changed multiple times throughout
How much support do you receive from your employer?

they are very supporting with most things
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

at first we didnt really get much support because of a few staff however after a change in management we have had more support
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

our qualifcation was sold as and electrical qualification that we could go to other places with and do install however we where later told that we get an electrical matinace qualification which can only be used on big industrial sites which is mainly only awe sites

Would you recommend AWE to a friend?
No
Why?
because of the qualification given is almost pointless if you wanted to domestic work and will have to pay more money to get correct qualifications

read your qualifaction properly to know what your getting into
