Overview of the Role

Overall, how would you describe your experience at National Grid?
Overall the experience was great as I got to experience 3 different placements during the graduate scheme and the work life balance is good in this company
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
I didn't have any main responsibilities simply because I was put in different placements and each placement offers different opportunities and what I enjoy the most is I have the flexibility to do something not only I like but also it helps my career development
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?
3/5
I would say initially there were not that much opportunity in my first placement so it can feel too free for not doing anything and it depends on the team's structure as I moved into my last placement, I had the opportunity to take ownership of some projects, which are completely decided by myself and I think this helps me to develop a different thinking/mindset when I'm in a different role from just supporting the project.
How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?
